Non-Employee Guest Speakers

Guest speakers are experts from the community who faculty can invite to supplement their teaching. The information on this page pertains specifically to non-employee guest speakers.

The 2008-09 pay rate for non-employee guest speakers is $50 per hour plus free parking.

Instructions:

  1. Make specific arrangements with guest, i.e. times, dates, topics to cover, compensation.

  2. While the guest is at the Rarig Center, s/he must complete two forms: (a)Contract for Professional Services and (b) Vendor Authorization and Substitute W9 form.

  3. All guests receive parking validation. Advise guests to park in the 21st Avenue parking ramp and bring the parking ticket to 580 Rarig to be stamped.
